Tunbridge Wells Taekwon-Do’s chief instructor, Luke Thompson has been promoted to 7th degree Master.

On Sunday 5th May, Mr T was successful in grading to 7th degree!
It was a very tough grading with England’s two Grand Masters, GM Ellis and GM Nardizzi. The test covered patterns, 3, 2 and 1 step sparring, foot sparring, unarmed self defence, staff, stick and knife defence, prone defence, theory and board breaking.

Mr T thanks “the GM’s for their guidance and the various grand masters, masters and instructors that have helped me over the years. Especially to GM Tan and master Lear who have taught me over the 34 years of tkd.
Thanks to master Denis for mentoring me over the last year and to my friends and students who supported me. It was really great to have you watching the grading. Thank you Steve for the constant technical advice and questions and keeping me motivated.
But really the most praise must go to my wife and children for supporting and putting up with the tkd weekends, missed holidays and tkd books around the house.”
