Fun Christmas training session in Tunbridge Wells with @affinitytkd students travelling from Uckfield. Mr Arroyo and Master Thompson taught advanced sparring drills for 1.5 hours in a sweaty but fun class before the festive break.

Another great night for the club. We had 4 black belt promotions from the recent grading. On Saturday the candidates had nearly 3 hours of being tested on patterns, step sparring, self defence, kicking combinations, competition sparring, board breaking and terminology. And today they were given their new belts. Congratulations to
Miss Adams 1st degree I
Miss Lee 1st degree I
Mr Lipman 1st degree I
Mr Smith 1st degree I

The grading and then the belt presentation was a hugely proud moment for me. It was the first time that we have had junior black belts in the club and their performance at the grading was impressive.

Some of them started over 12 years ago, when they were 4 years old in the tkd tigers class. It has been an honour and a privilege to know and train them and be part of their journey.
But now it really begins...

What a fantastic day. 4 candidates went for black belt today and they smashed it, quite literally. It was the first time the club has had juniors go for the promotion and they are did brilliantly. Congratulations to
Grace, George, Jake and Sophia on passing to 1st degree.

This week we return to the Tunbridge Wells sports centre on Mondays. Just for the next 3 Mondays, 7-9 years and 10-13 years will be mixed at 6pm until 7pm.
14+ years at 8pm.
